LFW Day 2

On Saturday I headed up to London for day two of Fashion Week with fellow Brighton bloggers, Carla from I wear my wages, and Atosa from My Bubba and Me. Battling the wind and rain, our first stop was the Aspinal of London and Glamour magazine event at the Marleybone Hotel, where we enjoyed some amazing smoothies and listened to Ella from La Petite Anglaise talk about street style.  With the weather we've been having, I wanted to be warm and comfortable during the day, so I decided to wear my floral printed trousers and lilac knitted jumper from Zara.

After the event we headed over to Somerset House to mingle and take street style photos and it was great to finally meet some of the bloggers that I talk to on Twitter. We also spotted the Swedish bloggers Fanny Lyckman and Victoria Tornegren and after chasing them across Somerset House we got to say hello. I’m pretty sure they thought we were some crazy stalkers after we took about 1,000 photos of them. And yes, they are just as stunning in real life!

When the rain finally cleared (and after we had been filmed for our cameo on Made in Chelsea, oh yeah!) I headed off to Freemasons Hall for the Zeynep Kartal Fashion Scout show. The collection was inspired by old Hollywood glamour and the result was floor length gowns covered in sequins and mesh adorned with glitter and art deco tulle gowns. Everything that came down the catwalk was gorgeous.

Before we headed home we stopped by the Debenhams #debLFWboutique on Oxford Street for a glass of fizz and some pampering and I got my make-up done by the fabulous team at Urban Decay. After chilling out for a bit we recharged our phones, put our flat shoes on and headed home.  Thanks Debenhams for having us!  I couldn’t actually keep my eyes open by the time I got home, god knows how people manage to attend shows every single day - let alone go from fashion week to fashion week!
