I cannot tell you how pleased I am that we are now into February and the depressing and gloomy month of January is finally over! As months go, I like February.  All of those random items that have been left behind in the sale are cleared away and the beautiful spring/summer collections start filling up the rails.  The evenings get lighter and as it’s a short month in comparison to the other 11, March (and hopefully some warmth) are just around the corner.  Ok, I know I sound like I’m wishing the year away, but having a birthday in May means I’m a summer baby and I much prefer wearing minimal spring/summer clothes to layering up with thick itchy knits and woollen mittens!

With spring/summer firmly in sight, I was delighted when the team at Debenhams invited me to their SS14 press day last week to view the new collection. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it in the end due to work commitments, but Debenhams were nice enough to send me the new look book so that I didn't completely miss out.  On viewing the look book I instantly fell in love with so many of the pieces and the collection captures the key spring/summer catwalk trends perfectly.  The pastel colours, lace detailing, snake print and floral digi print, all make this collection amazing. There were loads of images I could of included in this post, but to avoid giving you a pic overload, I thought I would just pick a few of my favourite looks.  I’m off to London at the weekend for some shopping and I’m definitely going to try and hunt down the pink lace skirt and H! Henry Holland pink lips bag in time for LFW!

What are your favourite looks from the collection?
