So Stella

Jumper - Choies
Joni Jeans - Topshop
Boots - Topshop

When I saw this Stella McCartney inspired jumper on Choies a few weeks I ordered it straight away. I think I paid around £12 for it in the end, so I wasn't sure what the quality would be like. But when it arrived last week I opened the package to find the thickest knitted jumper that I now never want to take off! It's definitely my favourite piece of clothing at the moment. Because the jumper is slightly cropped at the front I've paired it with my high waisted Topshop Joni jeans and my Zara mac over the top for some extra warmth. If you haven't visited choies before I would definitely recommended taking a look as they've got some great cheap pieces and some more designer lookalikes. I've also been lusting after these Stellaesque leather platforms from quite some time now.

Splurge Vs Steal - Céline

Size Zipper Tote, ChicWish
Metallic Plate Bag, Bershka

I think a Céline bag is on every girls wish list this Christmas, but for many people (including me) it will firmly remain a wish. Unless of course my boyfriend or family are feeling particularly generous this year?! Highly unlikley! So, I'm glad there are some amazing lookalikes out there.  I have been admiring the Céline Horizontal Cabas zip tote on the arms of bloggers such as FashionVibe for a while now and when I was strolling around Bershka at the weekend this zipped tote caught my eye and reminded me of it.  After a bit more searching online I then came across this tote on ChicWish which is only £37.  The basic design is ridiculously similar, so just get your gold pen out and nobody will know the difference! ;)

Tartan Grunge

Polo neck, Matalan
Skirt, Zara
Boots, H&M
Rings, H&M (Similar here)
Bag, Zara

I know, I know, another tartan related post! I just can’t seem to get enough of the tartan trend at the moment and really have found myself wanting to purchase every single red checked thing I see. This Zara skirt is my favourite piece (see my first post on it here) and I love the thick scuba fabric. Now the weather has turned ridiculously cold I’ve been layering it up with tights and a polo neck to keep me warm and pairing it with my H&M chunky boots to give it a little grunge/punk finish.

Casual Tartan

Leather Jacket, Topshop (old) similar here
T-shirt, Primark
Tartan Scarf, Primark (current)
Jeans, Zara
Black Converse, Available at Office

Just a few quick snaps to show you the casual outfit I wore yesterday.  I wear my white high top converse all the time, so I picked up these black ones while on holiday a couple of weeks ago.  Given the time of year, I thought black trainers might be easier to keep clean! I've had this tartan scarf for a couple of months now (see my haul post here), but only wore it for the first time yesterday.  We all know that tartan is big this season and a scarf is a cheap and easy way to buy into the trend.

My perfect Amsterdam Fashion Week Outfit

I’m a big fan of internet shopping, but find it so annoying when I have to have 40 tabs open just so I can view items on different websites. I’m not an impulse buyer and like to compare the things I want before committing to a purchase. That’s why I was delighted to be introduced to the Fashion Chick website early this week. If you’re not already familiar with Fashion Chick, it’s a website that pulls together all the latest and hottest items from the internet and lets you create an online wardrobe so that you can save items you like and come back to them later - Perfect for people like me! At the moment they are running a competition offering bloggers the chance to win a trip to Amsterdam Fashion Week. All you have to do is create a post telling Fashion Chick what you would wear to Amsterdam Fashion Week and here is mine.

Black faux fur coat, New Look
Bracelet, Tory Burch
Shoes, Topshop
Tote bag, Mulberry
All available through Fashion Chick

At first I didn’t have a clue what I would wear and decided to do a bit of research around Amsterdam Fashion Week and Amsterdam Street style. Amsterdam fashion seems edgy, cool and has a laid back vibe where anything seems to go! It was quick to pull together my perfect outfit as the website is so easy to navigate around. I’ve chosen a Fashion Union graphic print dress to bring a pop of colour to the cold January days, and to keep me warm I would wear this New Look black faux fur coat. As this is my ultimate outfit I’ve added a Mulberry tote, which would fit all my fashion week essentials like my camera and a pair of flat shoes.

If you fancy a piece of Amsterdam Fashion Week action than visit the Fashion Chick website here for entry details. The competition closes on the 6th December, 2013 23.59 (GMT) so get posting!
